Danny Alter relocated to Nashville in the Spring of 2016 to take the position of General Manager at Greater Nashville Pool Management. Danny came to Greater Nashville from The Pool Management Group’s flagship company, SwimAtlanta Pool Management. Danny started his career at SwimAtlanta in 2005 as a Pool Manager and soon became a Regional Supervisor. Danny became a Regional Director in 2009 and is also a Certified Pool Operator. Danny is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management.

Greater Nashville Pool Management provides pool management, lifeguard staffing services and pool maintenance services across greater Nashville.
Our service regions include areas from Bellevue to Lebanon, Hendersonville to Murfreesboro, Goodlettsville to Brentwood, Franklin, Nolensville and Mt. Juliet.
Alex Weatherly joined the Greater Nashville Pool Management team as a lifeguard the summer of 2015. He would go on to serve as a pool manager, then Regional Supervisor, until moving up to his current position of Operations Director.
Alex graduated from the University the Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance. While at school, Alex worked as a lifeguard at the student recreation center. After graduating in 2018, Alex returned home to Nashville and began working full time for Greater Nashville Pool Management.
Andrew Snow has been working for Greater Nashville Pool Management since Fall of 2017, first as a Regional Supervisor and now as an Operations Director. Andrew came to Greater Nashville from the YMCA, where he started in 2014 as a lifeguard and worked his way up, becoming a lifeguard instructor and certified pool operator. In 2016, he became the Aquatics Coordinator at the Northwest YMCA before transferring to Greater Nashville Pool Management.
Jasmine Snow
Staffing/Recruiting Director
Jasmine Snow has been a part of the Greater Nashville Pool Management team since June of 2017. She began her time in the aquatics industry in 2014. Prior to being an Assistant Pool Manager for Greater Nashville, she held jobs as a lifeguard at the YMCA and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She became a team lead for the YMCA in 2015 and continued her advancement in aquatics as a Head Guard for Vanderbilt University.
Jasmine graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently studying for a Master of Public Health, concentrating on Risk Management and Policy Development. Jasmine is a Certified Pool Operator, a certified Swim Instructor, Red Cross Lifeguard and a Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor.
Olivia Adams
Staffing/Recruiting Assistant

Olivia Adams originally from Hendersonville, she received Bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing from Rhodes College while working as a Scheduling and Events Assistant. After graduation she went on to complete research in Comparative Literature at the University of Bern in Switzerland and then received a Master’s in Publishing from the University of Roehampton in London. After moving back to Nashville, Olivia started with Greater Nashville Pool Management in early 2023 as our Staffing and Recruitment Assistant.
JJ Echterling started with Greater Nashville Pool Management in 2018 as a part time lifeguard auditor. In 2019 JJ became a certified lifeguard and pool tech. In 2021 she was promoted to a supervisor which led into new current role as The Director of Training and Safety. JJ now trains all the pool techs along with handling all the training audits.
Charlene Thorpe
Service Director
Charlene Thorpe joined Greater Nashville Pool Management in 2016 as a Pool Manager, she than worked for several years as a service Technician. In 2020, Charlene joined the GNPM team full time as a Service Pool Director.
Orion Humphrey
Service Director
Orion Humphrey started with Greater Nashville Pool Management in 2021 as a Service Tech. Orion joined the GNPM team full time in May of 2023 as a Service Director.
Mike Foster
Lifeguard Director
Mike Foster started with Greater Nashville Pool Management in 2023 as a Service Director, Mike recently relocated with his wife to Nashville from Illinois, Mike graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Health Science. After graduation with his undergrad, Mike returned to earn a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Northern Illinois University.
Harold Henderson is from Charleston, SC where he started his aquatics career in 2001 as a lifeguard and moved up to Aquatics Supervisor at a local high-end resort. Harold left to start his own pool service and repair business. After a couple of years Harold was recruited to develop and manage the service department at a local swimming pool builder with three retail locations. Harold is trained in the major equipment manufacturers and participates in continuing education regularly.
Wyatt Vaughn

Wyatt Vaughn is a Nashville native, he joined Greater Nashville Pool Management as a Lifeguard in 2018 and worked his way all the way to a Service Director for 2023, Wyatt decided he wanted to join our repair team in Fall of 2023.
Our Safety Advisors
As part of The Pool Management Group network, our customers and employees receive the expertise of our internationally renowned Safety Advisors, Dr. Tom Griffiths and the team at Aquatic Safety Research Group. Their expertise is instilled throughout our risk reduction practices and lifeguard training.
Dr. Griffiths was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and is a Paragon Safety Award winner for his water safety efforts. He has been awarded the National Recreation and Park Association Distinguished Aquatic Service Award for a lifetime achievement and designated a European Lifeguard Academy Friend of the Academy for significant contributions to preventive Lifeguarding. Dr. Griffiths has also been named to “Who’s Who in Aquatics- The Top 100”, and “Power 25- Top 25 most powerful aquatics professionals in the World”, by Aquatics International Magazine.
Dr. Griffiths has authored more than 300 papers that have been published in scientific, professional and popular journals. He is an external reviewer for the American Red Cross Swimming and Diving publications.
